I’m a Professor at the University of Bonn, Germany, where I head the Agricultural Robotics and Engineering department. I focus on applied computer vision/robotic vision approaches that enable robots and autonomous systems to interpret and interact with their environment. Important areas of research are agricultural robots and autonomous systems as well as scalable classification and learning approaches.
